The Evolution of Historical Thought:

An exploration of how we have interpreted history, past present and future

Friday 9th November 2018

7.30pm - 9pm

With Kenneth Gibson

The talk looks at how historians have interpreted history over time and the relationship between the present and the past and the possible meaning of human history. It will consider the question of objectivity and the role of interpretation in historiography.

Kenneth has a doctorate in 17th century religious thought and is currently exploring life at Emerson College as an artist, a storyteller and, (on occasion), a clown.
