Impulses for the future of the Michael Community in the Abyss of our Civilisation

With Dr Peter Selg, Eric Klein and Michael Jones

Saturday 8th September 2018

2.30pm - 6pm

An afternoon of lectures and music at Rudolf Steiner House.

Dr Peter Selg will give lectures celebrating the lives of two people who worked closely with Rudolf Steiner and outline the relevance of their work for humanity today. Dr Elisabeth Vreede (1879-1943) was a mathematician and astronomer who investigated the spiritual background to astronomical phenomena such as the precession of the equinoxes, comets and eclipses. Dr Ita Wegman (1876-1943) was a medical doctor who founded an art of medicine arising out of the spiritual insights of Rudolf Steiner, outlined in their book Extending Practical Medicine.

Eric Klein (violin) and Michael Jones (piano) will offer a concert programme which enables us to deepen our understanding and experience of music. This will include sonatas for violin and piano by Grieg and Debussy.
