An Introduction to Gardening the Biodynamic Way - On Zoom

Sunday 21 February 2pm - 4pm
With Dr. Sue Peat and Philip Martyn

Biodynamics is an organic method of cultivation, arising out of Rudolf Steiner’s spiritual research. It works with the rhythms of the movements of the sun, moon, planets and stars which plants respond to. The workshop will cover the background to the biodynamic planting calendar, composting and the biodynamic preparations. Participants will be invited to exchange gardening seasonal tips, ideas and experiences of growing everything from veg to trees. The workshop is suitable for those new to biodynamics and for anyone who would like to explore using the principles in their garden this year.

Philip Martyn and Dr Sue Peat are long term students of Rudolf Steiner and enthusiastic gardeners. Philip is a retired lawyer and previously served as co-general secretary of the Anthroposophical Society in Great Britain. Sue is a medical consultant, with a specialist interest in pain relief and medical education.
