The Apocalyptic Seals by Rudolf Steiner in the reality of space and time - On Zoom
Thursday 17th June 7.30pm - 9pm
3 Zoom lectures with Mónica Oliva
The Apocalypse of St. John is a paradigmatic work for the times in which we are living. I aim to unfold the main aspects, about which Steiner spoke in his two lecture cycles of 1908 and 1924. The central chapters 10 ~ 13 constitute the nucleus at the heart of the book at the sounding of the seventh trumpet. These chapters correspond to Steiner´s Seals IV and V, in the description of which he refers to the characteristics of the different regions of the world and the opening of the upward path with the vision of Virgin Sophia and the dragon.
After each lecture there will be some time for us to exchange ideas.
Mónica is Argentinian, resident in Santiago de Chile and a frequent traveler to London. She has an Architecture degree in Buenos Aires, and an MA in Political Science from Heidelberg University, Germany, with a thesis on Steiner´s Social Threefolding. She is an upper school teacher in Michelangelo Waldorf School in Santiago, teaching Philosophy, History, Parzival and Faust. She has given many lectures in Argentina and Chile and also has published three essays and many articles.
