Making and using the biodynamic preparations
With Aaron Mirkin
Thursday 16 May 7.30pm - 9pm
A talk with slides showing the making of the Biodynamic preparations and describing the basic principles and practices of their use. In addition, there will be a brief overview of the principals and practices of good compost making and the application of the preparation. We will finish by making a biodynamic tree past that participants can take home and use. To these end participants should please bring along a one Litre open container of some kind (lid is not essential).
After some years as a Chemical Engineer in the petroleum industry, Aaron worked as a farmer for nine years at a Camphill Community for adults with special needs near Cape Town trying to put Biodynamic principals into practice. He now works as a priest of the Christian Community in Stroud but continues to make compost and use the Biodynamic preparations wherever he can.
