Steiner’s dramas are primarily teaching vehicles and he expected us to work with the plays. Such work gives us a deep insight into the working of reincarnation and karma and shows us the workings of Lucifer and Ahriman and the threefold nature of the soul forces, in our thinking, feeling and willing.
