Festivals mark the turning points of the year, and for many are a social and spiritual reference point. Each year we come to a new date for Easter Sunday, which is celebrated on a date determined by reference to the rhythms of the sun, moon and days of the week. During this seminar Louise will explore how the power of festivals, and particularly Easter, can live anew within us. She will focus on Mary Magdalene - a pivotal character in the dramatic events that we are preparing to celebrate at this time of year.

Louise Sofair is a mother of four living in Hertfordshire. She was an upper school teacher of drama and religion in a Steiner Waldorf school for many years, and is the author of the book Women with Christ (Temple Lodge Press).
