Are we happy to wake up as ourselves, or would we like to be someone else? Are we sure there isn't another person in us who could wake up if we wanted it? Many spiritual traditions hold that we are really asleep, give or take a glimmer, and that if we fully 'woke up' we would know for the first time who we really are - but could we cope? Dr. Andrew Welburn has been an academic in the fields of English Literature and biblical interpretation and history. A life-long anthroposophist, he has written several books on Steiner’s philosophy, esotericism and Christianity, and on the prophet Zarathustra.
