Awakening to The Holy Spirit: Mary’s Conception of the Jesus child

Friday 11th December 7.30pm - 9pm
With Louise Sofair

The conception of the two Jesus infants described by St Matthew and St Luke, as alluded to by Rudolf Steiner, reveal different ways in which The Holy Spirit worked. We will look at the part played by The Holy Spirit in the development of humankind, the role through history, the unique connection with Mary and how this spiritual force changed after the Mystery of Golgotha.  A healing force thereafter is available to humanity. Can we awaken to this in our lives today? What is its importance for the future?

Louise Sofair is a mother of four living in Hertfordshire. She was an upper school teacher of drama and religion in a WaldorfSteiner school for many years and is the author of the book Women with Christ (Temple Lodge Press).

Previous participation is not necessary and there is no need to book.

Small donations towards expenses welcome: £3 / £2

All Rudolf Steiner’s lectures and writings that we are studying are available from the library at Steiner House, and, in addition, many may be accessed online at the Rudolf Steiner Archive.
