James will be offering us a contemporary exploration of the dynamics of ‘spiritual emergence’ and ‘spiritual emergency’. In this talk, he hopes to explore how changes in humanity’s consciousness over the last century have become reflected in the anthroposophical path of esoteric development as well as affirming some of the more permanent features and preconditions of this path.

James is now working in adult education as a psycho-spiritual psychologist with a special interest in child development and mental health. He was a practising physician for nearly forty years and co-founder in 1979 of Park Atwood Clinic, formerly an anthroposophical residential medical facility.
