A weekend to deepen our understanding of Wolfram von Eschenbach’s great epic in celebration of Whitsun

 

Friday 29th May

4pm – 6pm  Informal gathering over tea for teachers and others working with Parzival to share their enthusiasm, insights, practices and experiences

7.30pm – 9pm  The Grail in Wolfram’s Parzival with Andrew Welburn

 

Saturday 30th May

10am - 11.30am  Where is Parzival Today? With Steve Roberts and Jamie King

12pm – 1pm  Discussion

2.30pm – 3.30pm  Artistic activity: Eurythmy, Singing or Recitation

4pm – 5.30pm  The Planets in Parzival with Josie Alwyn and William Forward

10am - 12.30pm  Festival for Whitsun Music Pentecost in Wolfram’s Epic with Andrew Wolpert

The weekend is conceived as a whole, but we recognise that the reality of people’s lives may mean they can attend just parts of the whole programme.

 
Suggested contributions towards expenses Friday Lecture £10, Saturday events £35 (£40 combined). There is no charge for the Festival on Sunday. If you are interested in an excursion to Tintagel from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th please contact Andrew Wolpert
